A question of fate - I meant to be spending a day on the beach

The stranglers after a day lazing around on a beach at Plum Island. We stopped at the Mad Cow (how appropriate !) for some refreshment.


Nice bunch of ladies and some of us ended up at the Havana club salsa-ing the night away.

A un-scientific survey about sex

This came up in our conversation on Sunday - after partaking of large quantity of Taiwanese brunch.

The conversation went thus:

Kamie: "So, what constitute sex??
Alex: "What do you mean?"
Kamie: "I mean what is the definition of sex?"
General laughter by everyone.
Diana: "If you haven't got it figured out by now, then you never will."
Kamie: "It's not that, I just want to know all your view about what does it [sex] mean?"
Cristine: "To me, it's like a plug and the wall socket..................."

Much much later

Raj: "It's like a 6.25 if it's....... and a 10 if it's a so and so......" [please fill in the gap and use your imagination.]
Rob: " You mean, different activities can be added up, I like that idea."


So I'm going to conduct a survey on it. Please respond to this post with your definition, qualification and quotation you feel necessary to make your case.

Little House on the prairie - almost

My uncle has put up a little perch on the edge of our pond - it is so cute and so pretty. I can't wait to see it.


And here is how it got put up. Oopsy, we want it on the water and not IN the water !!!

Salsa - my new hobby

This is a fun and energetic activities - particularly for the ladies since we are doing it on our toes (albeit in heels)

The Havana Club is a great place for all ability to enjoy (and learn) Salsa.

And as usual, we have a big crowd of friends to pass the night - some climbers have also migrated onto the dance floor as well........

We really did some climbing last Sunday, honest

It was hot and so a chance for the men to show off their wares....

Me think - I'm gonna get me a fish tank.....

Ok, since I've moved to the US more than three and a half years ago, I've been deprived of other living things cohabiting with me (spider plants don't count).

As for fish, I didn't need to consider for very long. Kittyfish (Cory's - see the picture its Habrosus, very small and very cute) of course, then Tetras to add some fluorescent colour. Guppies also good for providing life fish food (their fry are quite something). Then I need something distinctive - one or at most 2. The choices are:

Kribensis

Redtail Shark

Clown

I must say, I'm partial to Krib - I love seeing them courting each other. But colourwise, it may have to be Redtail Shark.

Decisions, decisions, decisions

I need to visit a good local aquarium shop.

More climbing stuff and ball juggling too !!!

We decided that it would be a good idea to get up at a crack on dawn on Sunday (6am) and drive up 2.5 hrs to do some hard core outdoor climbing.

The problem was 'the rain'..... Ming - forever an optimist, said that it would be ok and that it would not be raining up in the 'Hampshire' New Hampshire that is. He was WRONG !!!!!

So we did the next best thing, went to Plain Jane and have enormous breakfast, then went to explore the 'Polar Caves'. Here is Rob climbing the inside of the cave wall.

And playing little red Indian with kiddies costume (we all did - but none of the pictures was as good as his - so.....)


Then we went on to play Frisbee and tennis ball juggling in the parking lot.

Eventually and due in no small part by Ming's insistence on checking out the parking lot wall and the meadows, we did indeed got to do some climbing.
